The 'Black Jobs' of the Ancient Civilisations

Civilisational Roles of Greatness

Blog

Black Jobs were civilisational jobs. In Kemet, polymaths like Imhotep, who was not only an architect but also a physician, an astronomer, and an Engineer, were priests and scribes who wrote many wisdom texts and scientists who worked with observational, mathematical, and engineering knowledge. He was also a Black Kemite Arabised through obscure history, and he was one of many Black Africans who you may think were of Turkish extraction after their history was subverted.

He was one of many Black Africans over the centuries in what became Egypt who were civilisational builders, creating the greatest civilisations of Antiquity and precolonial times. This series looks at a number of jobs - criticl, functional and leadership roles undertaken by Kemites and their jaw-dropping achievements, over centuries.
